Empowering Our Filipino Community Through Basketball.

PBA Chicago brings decades of experience and passion for the game to every program.

The Philippine Basketball Association of Chicago (PBA Chicago) was founded by Benito “Mang Ben” Libao along with Rolando “Boy” Esmao, more than 50 years ago. PBA Chicago was a member of the North American Basketball Association, an intercity consortium of basketball leagues across Canada and the United States, comprised of Filipino children and adults.  Mang Ben and Boy were also founding members of this organization.

To this day, PBA Chicago continues to host weekend basketball camps and leagues for children and adults in the Chicagoland area throughout the year.

PBA Chicago also continues to attend each annual intercity basketball tournaments and is a one of the founding member cities of the United States Filipino Basketball Association.
